There were two yellow flashes on each cuff and a yellow fringeless epaulette on each shoulder. Pocket flaps were vertical with three tassels and a grenade was embroidered on each coat-tail. Trousers were sky blue with yellow piping. The Guards had patent leather accoutrements and wore twenty-inch-tall bearskin caps with brass frontplates.
